Muscat December 26, 2009: After enjoying an ecstatic evening filled with fun and frolic on "Deepavali Dhamaka", a family get-together held on 22nd October 2009, Muscat Mogaveers did not relax for too long. The day/night sports meet was officially inaugurated by one of the senior most founder members of Muscat Mogaveers and a highly respected person in the mogaveera community, Dr. Shekar Salian, by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and releasing the cluster of balloons, which paved the way for start of the day/night sports festivities.
As a mark of respect, children of Muscat Mogaveers presented Dr. Salian with a floral bouquet, following which Dr. Salian welcomed the members and wished all the contestants good luck and the other participants an enjoyable time.
